Biography
A gifted actress and character comic, Eirlys has recently appeared in 'Edge of Heaven' on ITV1 and 'Stella' on Sky 1. Eirlys regularly appears as her own comic creation, "Rhian Madamrygbi", the Welsh rugby team's biggest fan on 'Jonathan' on S4C, alongside rugby legend Jonathan Davies. "Madamrygbi" brings comedy rugby reports and interviews with the players from the Rugby World Cup 2011, the Australia tour in 2012 and Six Nations 2010 – 2014.
Eirlys is a regular on the live circuit in London and Wales. Her solo show EIRLYS BELLIN: UNACCUSTOMED AS I AM was a sell-out at the Pleasance at Edinburgh 2010. Her hit debut show EIRLYS BELLIN: REALITY CHECK also attracted rave reviews at Edinburgh 2007.
She is under commission to co-write a pilot of an original sitcom JANE & MARCUS with Spencer Brown for BBC Radio 4, produced by Gareth Edwards. She is also working with Robert Evans on original comedy ideas, following their BBC commission FROZEN. In addition, Eirlys writes regularly for Calon TV's IGAM OGAM (S4C and Channel 5).
